Goodbye Win10! Microsoft announced that it will abandon the most stable 21H2 version of Win10: quickly upgrade Win11.

News on June 14, as the relatively most stable version of the Windows 10 system, Microsoft has now announced that it will officially abandon Windows 10 21H2.

Those still running Windows 10 21H2 should prepare for a forced upgrade. Microsoft will use the enabler package in the update to upgrade the computer to version 22H2.

Of course, Windows 11 is still an optional upgrade, but only for supported hardware.

The 21H2 build of Windows 10 isn’t the only product Microsoft has put to rest this year. Not long ago, the company stopped supporting Windows 10 version 20H2 and the second-generation SurfaceBook.

Microsoft also confirmed that Windows 10 22H2 is the last Windows 10 version, scheduled to end support in October 2025.

Right now, Windows 10 is in “maintenance mode” and only receives monthly cumulative updates with minor changes and security fixes.

In January of this year, Microsoft stopped the download and sale of Win10 digital version. Apparently, the company has focused more on Windows 11 and “Windows 12,” which is expected to launch in 2024.
