In early July, China’s first open source desktop operating system “OpenKylin 1.0” was officially released, marking that China has the ability to independently select operating system components and independently build operating systems, filling the gap in this field in China.
On July 19, the openKylin public account issued an article stating that openKylin version 1.0 has added Win eco-compatibility, and 60 Win applications have been put on the software store.
Including QQ, WeChat, Enterprise WeChat, QQ Music, Foxmail, CAD Viewer, Tencent Weiyun, Kingsoft Typing, Kingsoft PowerWord, etc., covering various categories such as office, social, audio-visual, games, etc., which can meet the daily needs of most users.
According to reports, after installing the openKylin1.0 system, open the “Software Store” from the start menu, enter “win32” in the search box to see the list of Win software that is currently on the shelves, click to enter the software details page, click “Download” and wait for the installation to complete.
openKylin1.0 is equipped with 6.1+5.15 dual-core by default, completes independent selection and upgrade of core components of 20+ operating systems, and adds many new features, fixes over a thousand bugs, and further improves the overall stability and compatibility of the system.
Currently, the system adapts to personal computers, tablet computers and educational development boards that support X86, ARM, and RISC-V architectures .
