August 13th News: Recently, the game “Ratchet & Clank: Time Jump” was launched.

This game is not only fun but also one of the rare PC games that support Microsoft’s gaming technology, DirectStorage.

It directly enables GPUs to decompress game data, significantly reducing CPU usage.

However, players enjoying this game have also taken note, especially those who had upgraded to the GeForce 536.99 driver for N-series graphics cards.

Due to issues with the previous driver, NVIDIA has recently released the GeForce 537.09 Hotfix driver.

Microsoft’s gaming technology encountered a glitch, prompting NVIDIA to release the GeForce 537.09 hotfix patch – an upgrade is advised.

This patch primarily addresses conflicts between the DirectStorage feature and certain in-game settings in “Ratchet & Clank: Time Jump,” which have been causing performance instability. Players of this game are recommended to update.

As for the rest of the content, it pertains to the previous driver.

The main focus is on optimizing support for new games, including titles like “Baldur’s Gate 3,” “Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” and “Goth.” All three of these games have incorporated DLSS2 support.

Upon enabling DLSS2, game performance sees a significant boost. In “Baldur’s Gate 3,” the average performance of the RTX 40 series graphics cards increased by 93%.

Several graphics cards even experienced performance doubling, allowing GPUs like the RTX 4060 Ti to maintain 4K 60fps gaming performance or higher.
