After the release of the M1 Ultra, the reviews of this processor on the network can be described as beating any CPU.
It has to be said that it is indeed a mess in specific loads and applications, but how does it perform when you leave a specific system?
In the single-core and multi-core CPU performance rankings updated by PassMark recently, the results of M1 Ultra and AMD’s latest Zen3 architecture Threadripper PRO 5000WX series have been added.
In terms of single core, Intel’s 12th-generation Core directly dominated the list, monopolizing the top 11.
The i9-12900KF scored a maximum of 4220 points, and the M1 Ultra ranked 12th with a score of 3896, which was 7.7% behind the first place.
In terms of multi-core, AMD’s latest 64-core Threadripper PRO 5995WX broke through 100,000 points for the first time, reaching 108822.
The M1 Ultra has a score of 41306, which is 2.6 times worse than the Threadripper PRO 5995WX.
