MSI launched the world’s first ATX 3.0 power supply

MSI launched the world’s first ATX 3.0 power supply: peak power of 2600W, perfect support for RTX 40 graphics card.

After Moore’s Law has slowed down, manufacturers have to make sacrifices in power consumption in order to improve performance.

This change is expected to be applied to this year’s RTX 40 series graphics cards, 13th generation Core Duo, AMD Zen 4, RX 7000 series graphics cards and other products tested.

To match it, the PC power supply will also usher in a new upgrade, including support for Intel’s ATX 3.0 specification, so as to better drive PCIe 5.0 graphics cards.

This week, MSI released the world’s first ATX 3.0 certified consumer-grade power supply MEG Ai1300P PCIE5. The rated power of the product is 1300W, but the peak power it can carry can reach 2600W (only 1ms can be maintained).

As an important part of the ATX 3.0 specification, it actually natively supports the 600W power requirement of the PCIe 5.0 graphics card, and the maximum offset can reach 1800W.

Obviously, the MEG Ai1300P PCIE5 can meet it, including the original 16-pin graphics card power supply interface (12VHPWR).

As a modular power supply, its compatibility and playability are also very high.

In terms of certification, the power supply has been certified by 80PLUS Platinum. That is, the conversion efficiency can exceed 89% under 100% load (115V).
