Intel Rolls Out New Wireless Drivers: Full Windows 11 25H2 Support and Complete Wi-Fi 7 Compatibility
Intel has released updated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers that bring full support for Windows 11 version 25H2 and expand compatibility with its next-generation Wi-Fi 7 product lineup.
On December 10, Intel announced the release of Wi-Fi driver version 24.0.2 and Bluetooth driver version 24.0.1, marking official comprehensive support for Windows 11 25H2. The update arrives as Microsoft recently opened upgrade channels for the latest Windows version to all eligible devices.

Expanded Wi-Fi 7 Hardware Support
The new Wi-Fi driver maintains compatibility with existing models including the BE200, BE201, and BE202, while notably adding support for Intel’s next-generation Wi-Fi 7 products: the BE211 and BE213. This expansion signals Intel’s continued commitment to its Wi-Fi 7 roadmap as the standard gains broader adoption.
However, Intel has emphasized a critical requirement for users hoping to leverage Wi-Fi 7’s signature feature—high-speed transmission over the 6GHz frequency band. The company specifies that accessing this capability requires Windows 11 version 24H2 or later, including the newly supported 25H2. Users running older operating system versions will be unable to utilize this advanced standard, regardless of their hardware capabilities.

Bluetooth Driver Enhancements
Alongside the Wi-Fi update, Intel released Bluetooth driver version 24.0.1, which the company describes as containing a series of “functional updates.” While Intel has not published a detailed changelog, the company states these improvements aim to enhance connection stability and overall performance. The update addresses potential disconnection and latency issues that may have affected previous versions.

Smooth Path to Windows 11 25H2
The timing of Intel’s driver release aligns strategically with Microsoft’s recent rollout of Windows 11 25H2. Microsoft has made the update available to all qualifying devices, though users must manually enable it by navigating to Windows Update settings and activating the “Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available” option.
Intel’s prompt driver support eliminates compatibility concerns that could otherwise hinder system upgrades. Users can now transition to the new operating system version immediately without waiting for staggered driver releases or risking hardware incompatibility issues.
The coordinated release demonstrates the importance of ecosystem alignment as new wireless standards and operating system versions continue to evolve. For users with Intel’s latest wireless hardware, these updates ensure they can fully utilize their equipment’s capabilities on the newest Windows platform.
Both drivers are available for download through Intel’s official support channels.
