Kali Linux 2023.3 Released: 9 New Security Tools Added.
Kali Linux 2023.3 has been officially released. The announcement wrote that this version does not have many new features, mainly improving the internal infrastructure and Kali Autopilot.
The development team said that with the release of Debian 12, they plan to redesign and adjust the architecture of the infrastructure.
This is also the focus of this development cycle, but due to the relatively large workload, most of the work will not be completed until the end of the year.
Here is the plan to simplify the software stack:
- OS version (Debian 12)
- CDN/WAF (Cloudflare)
- Web server service (Nginx)
- Infrastructure as Code (Ansible)
Kali Autopilot
Kali 2023.1 first introduced Kali Autopilot, which the team says is an automated attack framework. It’s sort of like an “AutoPwner” that follows pre-defined “attack scenarios” – originally developed for Kali’s defense.
Kali Autopilot includes a GUI tool for designing attacks and generating attack scripts that execute those attack sequences (manually or as a service), and a Web API interface for remote control.
