Huawei Mate60Pro Satellite Calling: No Monthly Fee Until Year End!

New on September 23 – Among the most anticipated features of the Huawei Mate 60 Pro, beyond its processor, operating system, and network speed, there’s a groundbreaking technology – satellite calling.

Mate60Pro can directly connect to the TianTong-1 satellite system, allowing you to make calls even when there’s no signal, covering all of China’s territory and territorial waters.

It’s worth noting that China Telecom has recently introduced a significant benefit for this function. Starting immediately and running until December 31, all users can experience the “direct-to-satellite calling” feature for free.

This offer is related to the starter package recently launched by China Telecom for Huawei, originally priced at ¥10 (about US$1.37) per month.

Once activated, users gain the ability to make satellite calls, but voice calls are not included and are charged at ¥9 (abut US$1.23) per minute.

With this free benefit, everyone can try out and become familiar with the operation of the feature when they receive their phones. It not only makes it convenient for users to understand the process but also allows them to experience and showcase this unique capability.

Although Huawei Mate 60 Pro’s satellite calling may not have a significant impact on everyday life, it could potentially be a lifesaver in remote areas, deep in the mountains, or in situations where signal connectivity is lost due to floods or earthquakes, enabling direct satellite communication with the outside world.
