Huawei Unveils its First Gold Smartwatch, the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate Design Masterpiece, Priced at €2,999 (about US$3,177)
On September 25, During Huawei Autumn All-Scenario New Product Launch Event, Huawei unveiled its first-ever gold smartwatch – the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate Design Masterpiece.
This watch was previously launched overseas and features an 18K gold accent design, priced at €2,999 (about US$3,177), making it one of the most expensive smartwatches ever produced.
According to the introduction, this watch marks Huawei’s debut in using gold as a material for a smartwatch. It incorporates gold accents in the watch case, crown, PVD bracelet, and butterfly clasp.
The Huawei WATCH Ultimate Design Masterpiece smartwatch boasts a 1.5-inch LTPO OLED flexible screen with a sapphire crystal cover.
Supports two-way Beidou satellite messages：
Supports two-way Beidou satellite messages, and can independently send Beidou satellite messages to other mobile terminals when there is no ground network.
The recipient can receive Beidou satellite messages through the Changlian app or short messages, and can reply to the watch according to the preset message through the Changlian app or the URL link in the short message . Other features of the Huawei WATCH Ultimate include a new 100-meter deep-sea diving mode, waypoint route return, golf enhancements, and an innovative hovering timer. Priced at €2,999, the Huawei WATCH Ultimate Design Masterpiece is the company’s first gold smartwatch and represents a breakthrough in the application of technology on a timepiece, according to comments made by Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei’s Consumer Business Group. He believes that this revolutionary product will keep users connected to the world through their watch, making it a flagship product for Huawei.
The Huawei WATCH Ultimate is touted to offer 14 days of battery life and can be fully charged in 60 minutes. The original version starts at ¥5,999, and IT Home will provide further updates on the pricing of the gold edition.
